**Salary: Up to £40,000 DOE**
- Our client in Bedford is seeking a Project Manager on a full time, permanent basis. The main responsibilities will be keeping projects running smoothly, meeting customer expectations, in budget, and achieving completion within the project timeline. TheProject Manager role will also include the responsibility of Export Control Coordinator (training will be provided)._
**Responsibilities including, but not limited to**:
- Determine when projects are required to meet customer expectations, support the manufacturing process and meet target delivery dates.
- Create project plans using Microsoft Project to track and report sales order progress to customers and internal teams including sales.
- Become point of contact for customers to communicate project status (link between customer and manufacturing).
- Organise and run project meetings for strategic customer orders for new and existing products that are processed through the company.
- Set up measurement methods and forms of recording to monitor the performance of the manufacturing processes.
- Check all customer requirements have been met including documentation before equipment is shipped.
- Travel as required
**Skills / Qualifications**:
- Strong organisational skills are essential
- Ability to focus on the critical path
- Problem solving and corrective action execution capabilities
- Facilitation of a wide-range of structured, event-based activities
- Bachelor’s degree with Engineering industry experience
- Proven Project Management leadership is required
- Design and/or Technical Lead experience is preferred
