We need someone who can work part time, on 22.5 hours a week, on Wednesday, Thursday & Friday. We can provide you with all the benefits listed below, plus the opportunity to get involved with heritage conservation.

What you'll be doing:Working alongside colleagues & contractors to deliver site maintenance and getting involved in heritage conservation, gaining unique knowledge & experiences of Saltram. Day to day work can be varied from carrying out basic plumbing fixes to helping repair the Orangery; This coming year we plan to focus on window repairs & internal decorations.

Who we're looking forWe'd love to hear from you if you have;
- Expertise in one or more general trades and in hands on and practical maintenance and repairs either within the home or workplace
- An understanding of traditional buildings/structures and able to make sound judgment on the appropriate extent and method of trade works within such settings
- Good time management including prioritising and managing own time to deliver agreed scope and quality of work
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of relevant Health & Safety, CDM and compliance requirements and experience of writing risk assessments and method statements for small programmes of work
- Familiar with use and maintenance of personal protective equipment
- Ability to work well in a team - Willingness to work alongside volunteers and able to support volunteers to perform at their best
