We are looking for an Electronics Test Engineer is responsible for implementing product testing and calibration to maximize efficiency, productivity and quality of production products and associated equipment. This will includethe design and commissioning of test equipment both in the production field and service centres within Radiodetection & SPX. To include the development and management of test equipment and instructions.

**Main responsibilities of the Electronics Test Engineer**:

- The design and implementation of equipment and procedures that will enable a level of confidence in a products performance, accuracy and reliably that conforms to the design intent. This will need to be done in a safe controlled manner whilst optimizingefficiency and verifying products to high standard in a repeatable and cost effective method.
- Responsibility for investigating and solving, in a team if necessary, test failures on production PCB’s, sub-assemblies and finished mechanical and electrical products.
- Manage the testing, repair and maintenance of test rigs, test platforms and general production equipment
- Directed the development of new and existing test specifications and test equipment
- Work as part of the team to establish the validation parameters for new and existing products
- Report and document failure trends, support the analysis of trends, propose and implement robust corrective actions
- Work closely and support other teams, especially sub-contractors, Engineering and Quality
- Support any sustaining and NPI projects/improvements
- Write and review technical instructions, process instructions, technical reports and test methods
- Manage the training of Service Technicians, vendors and/or customers/agents
- Full involvement in the drive of continuous improvement within the organisation to assist in the attainment of operational objectives

**Requirements for the Electronics Test Engineer**:

- Electronics experience down to component level
- Proven diagnostic and problem solving skills abilities
- Familiarity with manufacturing environment, specifically low volume, high complexity production
- Ability to share information effectively and guide/train others within the department
- Attention to detail, flexibility and ability to synchronise projects
- Ability to work and learn in a fast-paced environment focused on continuous improvement
- There will be a need to travel to various suppliers & service centres within the UK at times throughout the year.
