**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the café area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
- Engage with customers to take orders, provide recommendations, and address any inquiries or concerns.
- Assist in food preparation and serving of light snacks or pastries as required.
- Operate coffee machines and other equipment efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
- Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during peak hours.
- Maintain inventory levels of supplies and communicate any shortages to management.

**Requirements**:

- Previous barista experience is highly desirable but not essential; training will be provided.
- Strong understanding of food safety practices and hygiene standards.
- Excellent serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Effective time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: £12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 14 - 24 per week
