Warehouse/factory Supervisor

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Oversee the Implementation of a New Barcode System**:

- Lead the introduction of a barcode system for tracking goods in and out of the warehouse.
- Ensure smooth integration with existing systems and staff training to improve visibility and traceability.
- **Support the Production Manager**:

- Work closely with the newly promoted Production Manager to offer operational and strategic support.
- Assist in identifying areas for process improvement and efficiency gains in factory operations.
- **Set Up Robust Warehouse Processes**:

- Develop and implement standardised warehouse processes that ensure all team members can seamlessly manage operations, regardless of staff absences (e.g., holidays or sickness).
- Ensure that accurate data on pallet locations and stock levels are accessible at all times, eliminating reliance on individual knowledge.
- **Improve Visibility and Communication**:

- Establish a system where inventory and logistics information is easily accessible by all teams, ensuring smooth handovers and continuity in day-to-day operations.
- Enhance communication between the warehouse and production teams to ensure timely and accurate flow of goods.

**What We’re Looking For**:

- Proven experience in **warehouse management** and **process improvement**.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff in new systems and processes.
- Experience with **barcode system** implementation or similar tracking systems is highly desirable.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to set up clear, repeatable processes to ensure consistency and efficiency.
- Strong IT skills, particularly in inventory and warehouse management systems.
