Growing, award winning and industry leading company seeks, Assistant Merchandiser to join an established team to cover a period of 12 months Maternity Leave. This position offers variety, development and the chance to be part of a fun and highly experienced team. Experience in a similar role is preferable however transferable skills considered. (E.g., Purchasing, Stock control, Imports)

Overview

To contribute to all aspects of stock control, supplier management, ordering and replenishment.

Key aspects of the role are:

- Planning and controlling stock levels
- Analysing sales and reacting to trends
- Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers
- Shipment planning, including import documentation
- Work alongside product teams to ensure stock arrival in a timely manner
- Ability to work to deadlines
- Forward thinking and ability to react and adapt to challenges
- Advanced understanding of Excel
- Ability to adapt to cultural differences

But who are you? You must have excellent organisational, time management and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and the ability to learn quickly. With your skills and experience you will quickly become a key member in the merchandise department.

What’s more you’ll be confident with the ability to work with speed, efficiency, flexibility and general professionalism. You’ll be computer literate with excellent Excel skills and work well under pressure.

**Salary Package**: Up to £30,000 Per Annum, dependant on experience

**Hours of work**: Full time, 12 months contract to cover maternity leave
