Avanti Recruitment have partnered with a growing hardware design company in the Cambridge area to recruit an experienced Digital Design Engineer to join them as they go through their next stage of growth. You will be contribute to their IP library and implementhigh performance AI inference solutions on FPGA.

The company consists of a small team of highly expertised Engineers and Scientists who are working on projects to optimize AI and Deep Learning performance, by lowering the power consumption and increasing the performance capabilities. Their projects rangefrom working on Autonomous Driving Vehicles, right through to reducing the power consumption in the Worlds data centers. They work in collaboration with industry leading companies in the Semiconductor and Automotive industries, and will allow you to play animperative role on projects which will make an impact in the future of the industry.

You’ll need:
**Essential Skills**:

- 5+ years of experience in generating System Verilog code
- Worked with FPGA EDA tools such as Quartus or Vivado
- Experience optimising RTL designs
- Experience with C/C++ or other coding languages e.g. Python
- Experience working in a Linux development environment
- A strong degree (MSc or PHD ideally) in Engineering or Computer Science

**Desirable Skills**:

- Interest in Functional Programming Languages
- Interest in learning about AI inference compute architectures
- Experience with neural network architectures
