Whisky Auction Assistant

Formed in 2013, Just Whisky is a World Leader in the auctioning and sale of fine & rare whiskies. Based in Dunfermline, Fife, we are looking for a hard-working and enthusiastic individual to join our team.

**Purpose of the role**

Provide additional support for the day-to-day running of Just Whisky, the role will include but not be restricted to:

- Supporting our Warehouse Team in all aspects of pre and post-auction.
- Photography of products
- Listing Items on the auction on our website
- Creating product descriptions
- Responding to customer enquiries and providing excellent customer service either online, over the phone or in-person
- Unpacking and storage of incoming items
- Preparing packages for shipment of lots following a successful auction
- Selecting and managing outgoing orders
- Packing bottles for international transit
- Helping loading and unloading incoming/outgoing boxes
- Labelling and preparation of invoices and customs documents
- Taking payments over the phone
- Meeting & Greeting Customers

**Requirements** **An interest in Whisky Good knowledge of whisky and the auction market is desirable.**
- Comfortable working at a computer and on their feet for extended periods.
- Excellent communication skills
- Manual handling abilities
- Ability to multi-task with high attention to detail
- An initiative led approach to time management
- The ability to work in a small team of enthusiastic people

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £19,500.00 per year
