We are looking for a Supplier Relationship Manager to join the team here at Havebury. This is a brand-new role within our business and it's a really exciting time to join us. We've recently launched our new corporate plan which sets out what we want to achieveover the next 5 years, with new strategies to support our ambitions.

This role will remodel our corporate supplier relationship and contract management approach via developing a collaborative change programme to deliver an exciting strategic agenda that mirrors sector best practices.

**Requirements**:

- Overall ownership of corporate supplier and contract management with responsibilities for planning and governance.
- Identifying development needs and training plans to ensure that those involved in supplier and contract management or administration have the appropriate training, skills, and knowledge.
- Develop strong internal and external collaborative relationships that facilitate service delivery.
- Implementing a programme for managing and developing relationships with suppliers.

**Governance & Compliance**
- Take the lead with contract managers in developing and planning for supplier and contract management from the commissioning stage for all future tenders.
- Support the implementation and continued development of a new contracts management system and thereafter develop a contract categorisation approach/tool and categorise contracts/suppliers into appropriate tiers.

**Procurement and Contract Delivery**
- Lead the design and delivery of contractual performance management frameworks (integral to the commissioning phase and to contract delivery) that test the performance of the suppliers in delivering aspects of the contract.
- Lead discussions with key strategic suppliers on governance, performance, and commercial issues, including changes to contractual terms.
- Assume responsibility for a contract risk management programme, including mitigation, and arrangements to manage risk.

**Person Specification**

We are looking for someone who:

- Procurement and/or contract management strategy development experience
- To have gained extensive experience in managing suppliers and contracts.
- Has demonstrable experience in either leading or taking a significant role in strategic change programmes.
- Demonstrates a collaborative and inspirational culture and ethos in all relationships with individuals, teams and business partners whether internal or external
