**About this role**
- This is a customer focused digital media sales specialist role with a drive to acquire and onboard new and existing BT customers. As a digital advertising sales specialist, they will understand how to generate and process digital marketing related sales through both inbound and outbound channels such as calls and live chat programs for the BT Digital Marketing Hub. They will also have an understanding of digital marketing and the impact on businesses.
**You'll have the following responsibilities**
- Attract new clients:
- Manage both inbound and outbound list of prospects and build a pipeline of clients to book appointments for demonstrations of the Digital Marketing Hub. Conversations will be used to identify their advertising needs, objectives budgets and target audiences.
- Research potential prospects, to gain an understanding of their business and industry and introduce the Digital Marketing Hub as a potential solution to help them with their digital marketing.
- Responsible for the building initial customer relationships - establishing valued relationships as trusted sales advisors from the initial sales call which can be followed through to their in-life stage.
- Build a strong understanding of targeting parameters through customer conversations, research and insight - developing campaigns with customer top-of-mind.
- Manage Performance and Customer Relationship Management system:
- Meet sales targets and Key Performance Indicators for customer acquisition and spend value
- Report to senior management and participate in quarterly plans
**You'll have the following skills & experience**
- Industry knowledge - an understanding of various digital media channels including digital channels and best practice across search engine optimisation, pay per click, paid social, programmatic display, mobile and video as well as latest industry trends.
- Proactive self-starter - provide insight into latest industry developments and constantly being at the forefront of new techniques, tactics and platforms.
- Sales skills - you should be an experienced salesperson with a high level of familiarity with sales strategies to attract and retain accounts. Experience preferred within an agency or client-side marketing environment.
- Relationship management - experience in building and maintaining lasting relationships with a wide range of clients, being responsive and accessible to maintain a high level of client satisfaction
- Negotiation - skilled negotiator, able to upsell additional products / services that drive profitability while providing a benefit to their clients
- Expert stakeholder management skills - work closely with the BT product, sales and marketing teams to plan, deliver and report on collaborative goals
- Exceptional communication skills - both written and verbal
- Customer and query management skills - excellent knowledge of management methods and techniques, and customer service and problem-solving orientation.
