Electrician

We are looking for Mobile Electricians to join the Boden Group team. Due to continued growth, Boden Group are looking to recruit a fully qualified Test and Inspect Electrician in the Brize Norton area, to add additional capacity to our team. This willbe a mobile role, and some travel will be necessary, however the role is based in Brize Norton.
**Electrician Responsibilities**:

- Fault finding to resolve reactive Electrical issues in a timely and professional manner
- Complete emergency light testing and emergency light repairs
- To complete general power and lighting repairs
- Record and complete all tasks using Mobile Tablet updating WO status in a timely fashion
- Manage own workload to close out tasks in accordance with Schedule and KPIs.
- Ensure health, safety and environmental procedures are always implemented and complied with
- To ensure that all works are carried out to Boden and Client standards
- Consistently produce work to a high standard
- Provide information to supervisory and managerial levels to facilitate solutions to problems
- Keep clear and concise written records for use by others
- Undertake electrical installations
- Carry out electrical test and inspections
- General electrical repairs and servicing tasks
- Able to work unsupervised and on their own but also perform effectively as part of a small team
- ECS card presently or ability to obtain
- Able to work as above but within Hazardous Areas

**Technical Experience and Qualifications**:
**Essential**:

- A recognised apprenticeship with relevant experience as a fully qualified electrician and/or an appropriate City and Guilds/NVQ in an Electrical discipline
- Holds City and Guilds IEE 18th Edition Regulations
- Holds City and Guilds 2391, 2394 or 2395 Testing and Inspection
- Up to date knowledge of latest legislation
- Experience of electrical testing
- Installation experience

**Desirable**:

- COMPEX MECH and/Or Fuel
- Previous knowledge and experience of MOD contracts.
- Holds CompEx Hazardous and Explosive Area certification (or CompEx Fuel) or is prepared to gain these qualifications
- Experience of performing multi skilled tasks
- Experienced at working with control gear
- IPAF
- PASMA

**Skills Profile**:

- Must be able to gain and retain MoD Security clearance
- Must have a ‘can do’ attitude and contribute to the team effort
- Must hold a full valid UK driving licence
- Can demonstrate extensive knowledge of wiring schematics
- Flexible in approach to roles and responsibilities with a willingness to undertake tasks outside their own trade and if required, undertake qualifications outside their own trade

- Capable of completing all own paperwork in a clear, accurate and concise manner
- Computer literate

**Salary**: £33k-£36k DOE
**Location**: Brize Norton
**Hours**: Full time, 40 hours per week
**Contract**: Full time, permanent
