**The Role**:
This role is crucial to the effective running of the warehouse and focuses primarily on goods-in processing and stock rotation. You will be responsible for the put-away side of the shift, ensuring that all items handled in your aisles are stored correctly, safely and rotated efficiently.

You may be required to work in cold environments, all relevant PPE will be issued.

Working Hours are 8am - 5.30pm Tuesday to Saturday

Key Accountabilities:

- Primary focus on daily replenishment and stowing away products from routine deliveries.
- Report and record any discrepancies, damages, or shortages.
- Ensure accurate and timely put-away of stock into the correct locations.
- Follow stock rotation procedures (FIFO) to maintain product quality and compliance.
- Support with regular stock checks and cycle counts.
- Operate and maintain the digital stock system using handhelds and tablets.
- Taking full accountability for all stock in your designated aisles.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and safety in the warehouse.
- Compliance with all food safety procedures and record keeping i.e. temperature control and hygiene standards for all areas.
- Operate manual handling equipment safely and in accordance with training.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as required by the management team.
- Ensure accurate recording of stock movements within the warehouse management system.
- Assist with the conformance to the STS food safety standards.
- Ensure the external area of the depot is kept clean, organised, and free of invasive vegetation.

Physically fit and happy to be on the move throughout your shift.

Comfortable working in chilled and frozen environments (appropriate PPE is provided).

Attention to detail — you know the small things make a big difference to our customers.

**Qualifications Needed**:
Reach Forklift Truck Licence:
Ideally D2, but D1 or D3 is acceptable as full D2 training will be given on site.

**Experience**:
Previous warehouse or goods-in experience is preferred but not essential - full training will be provided. Reach forklift truck experience is essential, additional conversion training is available as long as you hold a forklift licence.
