**About the Role
The Facilities Management Team at Lancashire County Council are looking to recruit a Care Cleaning Supervisor who is required to carry out cleaning duties at Beaconview Residential Care Home.
The Facilities Management team is responsible for a large group of Care Homes across Lancashire. These buildings provide essential services to the community and vulnerable people.
High standards of cleanliness are expected, and prior experience is desirable. Full training and ongoing support will be provided.
This role requires you to lead a small team, ensuring all work areas are clean across the site, conducting induction and training for new staff and undertaking internal audits. The role involves some straightforward administrative tasks such as reporting of holidays and sickness, as being the first point of contact between both the client and Area Coordinator. Cleaning duties will consist of general cleaning, such as damp wiping, damp mopping, toilet cleaning, decontamination cleans and use of cleaning equipment such as a scrubber drier and carpet cleaner.
