Psychology Graduate

Slough - £70-80 a day

The school has not had a permanent exclusion for over 12 months, and is committed to ensure no student is left behind both pastorally and academically.

This Specialist Provision in Blackbird Leys, Oxford has a state of the art Complex Needs Environment, where you will have the opportunity to shadow specialised staff such as speech and language therapists, clinical psychologists etc.

Many of the students will have been through severe traumas and there will be a mix of good and non-existent relationships with their parents, which lends itself to a diversity of therapies to be employed. Restorative Practice, pragmatism, and positive reinforcementwill be key skills in this support role in Wokingham. Successful psychology graduates will specialise in working with students who have complex spectrum based needs. The students you are raising attainment with are between the ages of 11-18, all have EHCPsand will need to continue their education once they leave the school.

- Pastoral Support Worker
- Mental Health Support Therapist.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent Psychology graduate to gain valuable experience with young people who have complex needs and mental health issues, and to experience first-hand providing restorative practices to vulnerable students.
