**Job Overview**
As a Play Worker, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, engaging, and stimulating environment for children. Your primary responsibility will be to support the development and well-being of children through play and educational activities. **Responsibilities**
- Supervise and engage with children during playtime, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning through play.
- Encourage positive social interactions among children, helping them develop essential communication skills.
- Maintain a clean and organised play area, ensuring all equipment is safe and in good condition.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and any concerns that may arise.
- Work collaboratively with other staff members to create a cohesive team environment focused on the children's best interests.
- Support children with special needs or additional requirements, adapting activities as necessary to ensure inclusion.

**Skills**
- Strong management and leadership abilities to guide children effectively.
- Experience working with children in various settings such as nurseries or childcare facilities is essential.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles to support developmental milestones.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
