We’re looking for a highly motivated Senior Investment Officer to join our busy Property Investment team. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead on bespoke capital investment projects, oversee surveying works programmes and play a key role in ensuring our homes are maintained to the highest standards.

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Supervising and supporting a small team of Asset Surveyors and a Project Officer to deliver capital investment projects that are responsive, timely and of high quality.
- Leading the planning, implementation and monitoring of surveying works programmes, including Stock Condition Surveys and EPCs, to maintain accurate stock data and support future investment planning.
- Preparing specifications, contract documentation and assisting with procurement for investment projects.
- Managing budgets, monitoring progress and ensuring delivery of programmes on time and to budget.
- Supporting the submission of grant funding bids (such as the Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund) and reporting progress to senior management.
- Engaging with residents, contractors, colleagues and external partners to ensure projects are customer-focused and deliver value for money.

**About you**:

- A relevant professional qualification or equivalent experience in construction and/or property development.
- Experience of managing staff and contractors, with strong leadership and influencing skills.
- Experience in delivering asset investment or development projects.
- Strong financial and budget management skills.
- Knowledge of asset investment services, including health and safety requirements.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving and project management skills.
