JOB TYPE: 8 MONTH FTC**COMPANY**:A well-established logistics company committed to delivering outstanding customer service**HOURS**:Monday - Friday, 40 hours**SALARY**:£27,500 - £32,450 *depending on experience

LOCATION**:Amazing headquarters just 20 minutes from Cambridge**DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT EXCLUSIVE TO**:

- Onboarding and 'triage' of new customers and website enquiries
- Set up and management of new projects or complex shipments for existing clients
- Provide the highest quality of service and solutions to all customers
- Collaborate and support key stakeholders e.g. business development, quality, finance
- To assess, develop and define working practices/processes that ensure activity where possible can be streamlined and replicated, and that communication channels/methods are a top priority on all occasions
- Carry out all end to end operational processing tasks related to the movement of consignments in the most cost effective and efficient way, whilst upholding client requirements

**SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED**:

- Educated to Degree Level in a Scientific discipline or other Logistics industry regulated qualification OR be able to demonstrate through achievement and industry practice the relevant knowledge and skills to fulfill a Subject Matter Expert role
- Significant operations experience with an international specialist courier, freight forwarder, or logistics provider within the life science and pharmaceutical industries OR has experience working within a global company in the life science and pharmaceuticalsindustries in an export / logistics capacity.
- Proven Customer Service experience with exceptional communication and relationship management skills
- Collaborative approach, working across functional areas and cultures
- Routings and experience of working with an Air Export department
- Highly organised with a proven ability to work well under time pressure
- Adaptable with a positive can-do attitude and high attention to detail
- Continuous improvement mind-set
- Creative problem solver, that has the ability to think outside and box and critically at what we do
- Commercial awareness
- Influencing and training - ability to share knowledge and experience
