Care Assistant

**Care Assistant**:Full in-house training provided regardless of experience.

**Hours per week**:_10hrs - 35hrs per week dependent on your availability_

**Hours of availability**:You choose; Earlies (8:00am - 2:30_pm), or Lates (3:00pm - 9:00pm) - note_: all staff are required to work every other weekend, however you still are free to enjoy two weekends off each month._

**Location**:Medway (includes: Gillingham, Chatham, Rochester and surrounding areas) - _we aim to keep you close to your local area, however must be prepared to work anywhere in Medway._

**Hourly Rate**:We pay **£13.25** per hour + mileage evenings and weekends, and **£12.25** per hour during weekday mornings/days. Enhanced rates paid for all public holidays; Christmas and New Year is paid at double time

In addition to the above, we require our Care Assistants to:

- Be able to **work 3 weekends each month**:

- Have a full UK driving licence (or equivalent)
- Have access to your own vehicle - **This role is not suitable for 'non-drivers'**:

- Already have full legal right to work in the UK - **We do not offer sponsorship at this time**:

- Be prepared to attend our 3-day induction training at our Gillingham office
- Already live in Medway

**I like what I've read, but what tasks will I do?**

Our clients depend on our team of dedicated CareGivers to help and support them with the activities of daily living in their own homes. Typical tasks include:

- Personal care (mínimal assistance is all that is sometimes required)
- Companionship (hobbies, trips out, shopping etc)
- Medication administration / assistance
- Assisting clients living with Dementia
- Meal preparation
- Light housekeeping
- Catheter / STOMA care
- And much more...
