**About The Role**:
The Animal and Land-Based Department is looking to recruit a new Skills Practitioner. For this role, you will provide Learning/Technical support to staff and students within the Division and to undertake assessment and quality assurance duties as required by the College and awarding bodies.
In your role as a Skills Practitioner your primary role is to maintain the health and welfare of the animals on the Animal Management unit. Daily duties include supporting student groups undertaking practical lessons and undertaking practical animal husbandry (feeding, watering, maintaining animal accommodation, monitoring health and behaviour and stock-checking).
As a Skills Practitioner for Animal Management, you will be required to enter into a weekend and bank holiday working rota. You will be required to undertake 1 weekend per month as well as some Bank Holidays inc. Christmas Day/Boxing Day or New Years Day.
Skills Practitioners will be required to support and oversee groups of learners during their practical sessions, weekend duties and holiday duties throughout the year.

**About You**:
We are seeking to appoint an organised and efficient member to our team who has excellent communication skills and can facilitate learners on tasks. You will also provide demonstrations as required in class to aid the delivery of outstanding provision within EKC Group.
