Counter Sales

**Main Purpose of the Job**:
Working on our Trade Sales Counter and in our shop, you will make sure our customers feel valued and provide excellent customer service. You will also be responsible for any duties to ensure the branch is running effectively.

**Responsibilities**

Greeting, serving and assisting customers

Providing customers with advice and guidance on product selection

Quoting and liaising with customers

Taking cash and card payments

Taking, making and returning phone calls

Managing sales ledgers

Balancing cash registers with receipts

Ordering stock as requested

Stock taking and stock checks

Loading and unloading deliveries

Keeping the store clean and tidy

Keeping showroom restocked/merchandised

Keeping up to date with promotions updating displays

Willing to perform any duties as may be deemed necessary or as may be required by the Company

**Salary**: From £25,000.00 per year

**Experience**:

- Builders Merchant or Trade Suppliers: 1 year (required)
- Counter/Shop customer service: 1 year (preferred)
