We have a great job opportunity for you to join us as our Homelessness Support Worker within our small but perfectly formed team. We support our adult male customers who have a history of being homeless. Our customers have a variety of support needs which includething like substance misuse, mental health issues, learning disabilities and offending histories. Our main aim is to help our customers move on into independent living.
Our customers have their own unique self led support plans, which do change regularly and we encourage them though support and kindness to achieve their goals. We support with things like managing their tenancies, dealing with debt issues, to engage in thelocal community, make friends, find employment and address any issues which may be impacting on their ability to live safe and happy lives.

**Where and when we work**
Our customers live at our 24/7 staffed supported housing scheme in Wymondham, or in one several move-on properties across the town. The team take their turn to work on a 24-hour support basis each and every day. You’ll work on a rota basis and take your turnworking days, evenings, weekends and bank holidays. We need you to be flexible to meet the needs of our customers, but we aim to give you the time you need to spend time doing the things that matter to you
As this is also a community-based role, you’ll need to travel around to spend time with your customers. You could do this role using public transport, or if you drive and have access to a car that would also be amazing (we pay your expenses to cover this use)
