An established, friendly and flexible accountancy firm, local to Chesterfield are seeking to hire into a vital job role for a **Senior OR Semi Senior Accountant.**

If you are an active studier for AAT, ACCA or ACA the firm can offer support for study costs and time. Salary and hours of work are by negotiation.

**Key Tasks**:

- To prepare Financial Statements (Profit and Loss Accounts and Balance Sheets) for small limited companies, partnerships and sole traders (with relevant tax computations where appropriate);
- To undertake bookkeeping on behalf of clients (on occasions this may be at clients' premises);
- To prepare client VAT returns;
- To file Corporation Tax Returns and Self-Assessment Tax Returns;
- To keep up-to-date with relevant changes in tax and VAT legislation;
- Attend CPD and other meetings as required and to maintain professional standards
- Working in an established team, you will manage a portfolio of clients.

The position may suit an experienced, part-qualified or qualified accountant, whilst QBE (qualified by experience) will also be considered.
