**Overview**:
Based in our Watford office, the Software Technician Apprentice will learn and help support users globally.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is motivated, adaptable and resourceful. Someone who has a keen interest in software and a eagerness to learn and is familiar with a Microsoft estate.

**Duties**:

- Interact with business users to address any issues they may have
- Perform initial problem analysis
- Provide information by collecting, analysing, and summarizing development and service issues

**What we are looking for**:
**Experience profile**:

- Basic analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Detail oriented

**Goal Competencies to be achieve through the duration of your apprenticeship**:

- C#
- MVC
- MS Office Suite (Office 365 a plus)
- Experience in at least one Business Application
- MS SQL basic queries and navigation
- VBA (MS Access and/or Excel)
- SharePoint
- MS Teams
- Salesforce
- Sage 300 (Accpac)
- inspHire

**Entry requirements**:
7 GCSE's total:

- English GCSE grade D or above
- Other 6 GCSE's, including Maths, to be C or above

You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.

**40hrs a week.

**Future prospects:**
92% of QA Apprentices secure permanent employment after finishing their apprenticeship. Additionally, there may be opportunities to undertake further apprenticeship training as many of our programs offer on-going development tracks.

**Important Information:**
QA’s apprenticeships are funded by the Education & Skills Funding Agency (ESFA), an executive agency of the Department for Education.
To be eligible for a Government funded apprenticeship you must have lived in the UK or European Economic Area (EEA) for the last 3 consecutive years.
