We have been at the frontline for more than 50 years helping people reclaim and rebuild their lives through recovery in safe, supported environments. Our treatment centres are located across the UK, and we have exciting plans to extend our services in the coming years so that we can support more people to live their lives free from gambling addiction.
**Job Purpose**:
Given the changing funding landscape within the gambling harm education, prevention, and treatment space, Gordon Moody is undergoing a review of our existing income streams to ensure we have sustainable funding in place to allow us to deliver our services into the future. Partnership income is a fundamental income stream for us already and is one we’re keen to maintain, diversify and develop further over the next 12 to 24 months.
The Strategic Partnerships Lead will develop and implement Gordon Moody’s corporate partnership funding strategy, with responsibility for growing our strategic partnerships portfolio and the contribution these partners make in helping people reclaim and rebuild their lives free from gambling addiction, whilst supporting our aim to become financially sustainable.
**Responsibilities**:
- Work alongside Commercial Director to develop and implement Gordon Moody’s corporate partnership funding strategy, within the wider income diversification strategy.
- Develop and implement acquisition, growth, and retention strategies for our partner portfolio.
- Manage the full partnerships function from pipeline development to proposal submission and ongoing partner engagement.
- Grow and develop established relationships as well as be responsible for delivering new partnerships.
- Identify new and improve existing shared value commercial opportunities that support key organisational programmes and projects.
- Collaborate with colleagues across internal teams to maximise funding opportunities and ensure effective reporting of funding received and impact delivered.
- Measure and report the performance of partnership activity (e.g., events, funding campaigns) and assess against defined KPIs.
- Build and develop relationships across relevant key stakeholder groups, including internal teams, trustees, management, UK, and international gambling industry, NGSN partners and agencies.
- Act as an advocate for Gordon Moody and the impact we deliver, raising the organisation’s profile across a wider corporate footprint.

**Essential**:
- Experience of B2C and B2B
- Creative marketing experience
- Experience in confidently creating and editing digital and non-digital content with experience in adherence to brand standards and values. Ability to provide web and social media support.
- Experience working in a communication, marketing and/or media environment.
- Experience in supporting the delivery of operational marketing and communication plans.
- Ability to write fresh and engaging content for external audiences.
- Ability to drive awareness in a competitive marketing place.
- Excellent storyteller
- Good IT skills
- Knowledge of Word Press and Adobe Design Suite or equivalent
- Design packages
- Able to manage schedules, deliver to deadlines and prioritise workload.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including copywriting and proofreading.

**Desirable**:
- Degree-level education and/or equivalent CIM qualification
- Some understanding of tools and techniques of effective communication.

**Salary**: £50,000.00-£60,000.00 per year
