**About the Role**

As our Warehouse Assistant, you will join us on our journey through fast growth and success. We are seeking a hardworking individual who will help us maintain our commitment to efficient warehouse operations.

In the role, you will be responsible for handling returns and managing the process to ensure smooth and timely resolution. You will work closely with our Customer Service team, responding to their return inquiries and providing quick and effective solutions. Your role will involve accurately documenting and processing returned items, inspecting their condition, and coordinating with relevant departments to facilitate the appropriate actions.

You will be an integral part of our dynamic and collaborative team that is passionate about delivering outstanding customer service, even in the returns process. You will have access to the latest warehouse management tools and technologies to support your work, and you will receive ongoing training and support to excel in your role. - **Responsibilities**_
- Handle all aspects of the returns process, including receiving, documenting, and processing returned items.
- Inspect returned items to determine their condition and take appropriate actions accordingly.
- Collaborate with relevant departments to coordinate exchanges, replacements, or refunds for customers.
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries regarding returns and provide quick and effective solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of returned items, ensuring proper documentation and tracking throughout the process.
- Organise and maintain a clean and organized returns area within the warehouse.
- Collaborate with the Returns Supervisor to optimize returns handling processes and improve efficiency.
- Monitor and track return trends and provide insights to help identify areas for improvement.
- Assist in inventory management by reconciling returned items with the inventory system.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding returns and customer service.

- Strong work ethic and willingness to contribute to the success of the returns department and the company.
- **Skills and Experience**_
- Previous experience in a similar role within a warehouse or customer service environment (**Required**)
- Familiarity with returns processes, inventory management, and customer service principles (**Required**)
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written (**Required**)
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently (**Required**)
- Basic knowledge of inventory management systems and practices (**Required**)
- Additional certifications in warehouse operations or customer service are advantageous (_Preferred_)

**The Rewards**
- Salary - We offer a **£22,000** starting salary with an increase to at least **£25,000** after 12 months, more may be offered in the event of very high performance.
