About Global Business Services (GBS)

GBS UK is a shared service centre based in Lurgan, Co Armagh. We work as part of a worldwide structure supporting Terex entities in the UK, Europe, Asia, Australia and the US. GBS is responsible for a range of financial functions including General Ledger Accounting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Business Tax, Travel and Expenses and Payroll.

About the Position

Job Title: Senior Masterdata Specialist

Job Location: Terex GBS UK, Lurgan, Northern Ireland

**Job Type**: Fulltime - Permanent

Working hours: 37 ¾ hours Monday - Thursday 8am - 4.30pm and Friday 8am - 2pm

Reports to: GBS Support Services Manager

Position Overview

**Responsibilities**:

- Add and/or change supplier, customer, and account data based on business unit requests using the standard change

request process in a timely, accurate fashion according to service level agreement
- Ensuring that all changes made to Masterdata are in accordance with established controls
- Ensuring that the team delivers excellent customer service to all GBS stakeholders
- Ensuring that the team hit all metrics targets including 48hr turn for Masterdata
- Leading the team in a culture of continuous improvement, developing new processes to support these as required.
- Providing support to the GBS Support Services Manager
- Leading data reviews and data cleansing to ensure accuracy, data integrity, and standardization, and ensuring any issues are resolved in a timely manner.
- Interpret results of data analysis to provide management reports for decision making.
- Support large scale projects including new TMS site implementations or data clean-up activities.
- Work directly with GBS customers to identify analytical requirements and support those requirements by pulling data into standard sets of reports.
- Gain an expertise with TMS (Oracle) customer and supplier master records

Required Education & Experience
- Previous experience within a Masterdata or data control environment.
- Sound technical/system experience in data management for large volume of records.
- Proven customer service, problem solving ability
- Proven experience in analytical/investigative research.
- Educated to GCSE level or equivalent including Mathematics and English (Grade C or above).
- Strong MS Office skills, in particular proven working knowledge of MS Excel to manipulate data into different formats.
- Experience in using Oracle, SAP or other financial/ERP systems (desirable).
