- Job descriptionLearning Support Assistant, two terms with the intention following a successful year of this being extended.

The Governors are seeking to employ a Learning Support Assistant to start from 6th January 2025. We are looking for dedicated, enthusiastic and flexible individuals to work with children in our EYFS/KS1 classrooms on a small group and 1-1 basis.

You must have:

- Successful experience in working with pupils in the classroom
- An understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures
- Passion and initiative in the creation and delivery of stimulating learning opportunities
- Excellent interpersonal skills with all stakeholders

Duties include:

- working with individuals or groups of pupils to support learning as directed by the teacher including intervention programmes as appropriate
- supporting working relationships with pupils, acting as a role model and setting high expectations
- meeting the personal and physical needs of pupils whilst encouraging their independence
