We have a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and dedicated Retail Assistant to join the Golf team here at The Dartmouth Hotel.

The hotel is set in 250 acres of beautiful South Devon countryside, in a fantastic location. There are two golf courses and a driving range on site, alongside 35 guest rooms and self-catering lodges and spa and leisure facilities.

**Duties & Responsibilities**

You will assist in the effective and efficient management of the retail operation provided ensuring the highest levels of customer service at all times.

Main Responsibilities include:

- Merchandising shop displays and submitting offers for retail, green fees and societies.
- Creating and placing orders for the shop to maintain a level of stock, and completing stock takes.
- Finalising all aspects of society bookings including confirmation of numbers, food choices and payments.
- Contacting previous guests, future bookings and hotel guests to confirm details and upsell extras to them where applicable.
- Any other tasks as directed by the Golf Professional.

To succeed in this role, an excellent telephone manner and customer service skills are essential. Experience of golf booking systems and telephone sales is essential, and further full training will be provided. You will ideally be a passionate golfer and enjoy and understand the game fully.

3-month live in accommodation available if required for re locators.

**Salary**: £9.50 per hour
