Activate Learning are now looking to recruit enthusiastic and proactive front-line support for our Learning Environment users, with responsibility for the day-to-day operational management of library environments.
In this role, no two days are the same - from delivering a library induction, supporting our students with developing their digital competencies, collection management or contributing to library initiatives, project work and the development of our onlinelearning resources.
As part of the Digital Education Services team, you will also be expected to promote Activate Learning’s Digital Strategy to all Learning Environment stakeholders. As such, you will need to possess a demonstrative enthusiasm for digital learning.
The postholder would be based onsite at our Merrist Wood College in Worplesdon, Guildford.
**What do you need to be successful?**
You will have experience in a customer service environment, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to demonstrate effective professional relationships with colleagues, learners and the wider community. A flexible and team-basedapproach is essential, as is a firm, pragmatic and student-centred approach to behaviour management.
