Our client, a leading international manufacturer, are looking to recruit an organised, professional and efficient new member of their Supply Team.

Reporting to the Site Director duties include:

- Maintaining accurate stocks on they systems by ensuring stock transfers and orders are processed correctly.
- Development of internal process flows to support supply chain.
- Manage day to day communication with external stakeholders e.g., Port Health & Customs to ensure imports and exports have accurate and timely clearance and delivery.
- Import/Export declarations, liaising with forwarding agents
- Order processing and invoice raising.
- Support the business in all customs and tariff heading related queries.
- Ensure products are registered under the correct tariff headings and codes.
- Liaise closely with Planning, Customer Services / Logistics colleagues and other relevant areas of the business to ensure smooth transition of stock production through to a sale to the customer.
- Monitoring customs controls issues and maintenance of compliance records.
- Identify customs risks and propose corrective actions for implementation.
- Keep business informed of any material changes in customs legislation.

As an ideal applicant you will possess an understanding of end-to-end Supply Chain Planning processes or a recent Graduate with Maths / Economics, Business or statistical-based degree, be self-motivated, have an exceptional level of communication alongside a strong attention to detail.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office especially Excel, ideally intermediate to advanced level, is essential together with the ability to manage the process of your own workload and excellent numeracy, analytical and problem-solving skills.
