Pro-Tect GRP Enclosures Limited is one of the leading manufactures of bespoke GRP Enclosures within the UK, and a market leader within the GRP sector.

As Pro-Tect GRP Enclosures Limited continues to grow within the UK and European market, we are now looking to strengthen our manufacturing team with additional **‘Quality Assurance Officer'.**

Pro-Tect GRP Enclosures Limited is looking to employ a competent Quality Assurance Officer to join its workforce. Experience in this role is advantageous and a background in Quality Inspection/Supervisory Positions is essential.

Associated skills in the use of Microsoft Packages, basic report writing skills and previous GRP experience is desirable for the role.

**The role**:
To carry out Final Inspection of the finished product prior to dispatch, to monitor the activities of the finishing team and instruct accordingly, to monitor Quality Issues through the manufacturing process and to aid the QA Department as required.
- Conduct ‘Final Inspection’ of product prior to dispatch.
- Organising all activities by the finishing department required for the sign off finished products
- Be confident in providing instruction to a finishing team regarding quality issue remedial works
- Prepare reports for monthly Quality meetings and chair with Quality Manager.
- Meet all targets and deadlines
- Review, check and approve finished quality documentation to ensure compliance with ISO 9001
- Participation in inspection readiness activities and the external audit program

**What you will need (Desirable)**:

- Prior experience of working within the GRP industry, preferably with experience in Quality Assurance roles
- Computer literacy (including word, power point, excel, databases)
- Experience of working with a regulated industry
- Confidence to lead a small finishing team
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent practical skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to read and work from technical drawings
- Working knowledge of Health and Safety processes

Wage Structure: To be discussed during interview - Wage to be negotiated depending on experience.

**Salary**: From £10.37 per hour
