Superstar Supply are working with a group of SEN providers in Romsey and the surrounding area, who are searching for specialist support staff. They are seeking an individual who would feel comfortable supporting a child 1:1, with special and additional needs.

**Responsibilities**:

- prepare learning materials
- adapt teaching support to meet each student's needs
- support group and class activities
- look after children's physical, social and emotional welfare
- create a safe and interesting environment for students
- update records and attend review meetings
- work closely with teachers and other professionals like speech and language therapists

**Qualifications**
- Experience working with children in educational settings
- Strong background in special education practices
- Familiarity with teaching strategies for individuals with autism
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with students and staff
- Experience in toddler care and understanding developmental milestones
- Ability to create a supportive and engaging learning environment for students with special needs

This position would be working Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm, term-time only. Other opportunities to work weekends and within school holidays can also be offered. For further information call 023 8212 7219.
