We're looking for an enthusiastic In House Counsel to join our UK-based legal team to support Access' domestic and international growth.
Day-to-day (and in conjunction with other members of the Access legal team), you will:
- support our high performing sales teams across all ten divisions (with some emphasis on sales into the public sector)
- manage a high volume of deals and ensuring consistency with commercial and pricing policies
- manage the contractual aspects of enterprise sales deals throughout the sales cycle, both at bid stage and at the point of contract finalisation
- Review supplier contracts as part of our supplier management programme
- Create templates and other internal materials that help create consistency and efficiency in terms of contract risk management across the relevant Access group businesses.
- Provide advice to stakeholders across the Access group
- Help to ensure that contracting activities are carried out in accordance with legislation and the Access group's policies and procedures
Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in commercial contracts, working in private practice and / or in-house (preferably in a tech / SaaS setting)
o2+ years PQE preferred, though demonstrable experience and expertise (for example, as a paralegal) will be considered.
- Excellent skills drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts
oExperience in software (and in particular SaaS) contracts will be preferred
- Ability to manage competing priorities and influence a wide number of senior stakeholders to drive excellent outcomes for the business.
- A high degree of self-awareness and judgement with exceptional interpersonal skills will be required
