**The Role**

Working within a small friendly team, we seek an accounts assistant to manage the day to day accounting / bookkeeping using Sage software.

**Responsibilities Include**

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using Sage accounting software

Process incoming invoices and payments.

Reconcile turnover figures for all business departments, including, cash & card transactions.

Sales Ledger & Purchase Ledger reconciles.

Monthly Cost Valuation Report costings.

Weekly BACS supplier payment runs.

Processing of weekly payroll.

Processing of weekly pension contributions.

Answering the telephone and assisting other departments as and when required.

**Experience**

Good attention to detail and mathematical proficiency/accuracy.

Strong data organisational skills.

Ability to work independently and to meet deadlines.

**Anticipated hours approx**: 30-37.5.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Temp to perm

**Salary**: £11.44-£12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 37.5 per week
