We’re currently recruiting a Contract Manager to lead our storage operations for a new contract based in Leicester. Working closely with the customer, you’ll oversee the operational team in managing finished products from the customers' production facilityfor put-away, picking & loading. Dealing with returnable packaging and raw materials, your team will also support our customer with production to feed line side. You’ll be responsible for a team of 50 heads and the customer relationship in this brand new contract.

**Pay, benefits and more**:
We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £40,000 - £45,000 per annum. In addition, we offer 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. **What you’ll do on a typical day**:

- Effective management of the operation, monitoring KPI’s, productivities and controlling day to day costs
- Engaging with the workforce, developing staff and building the relationship with the customer
- Ensure all safety objectives, targets and KPI’s are being met or exceeded across the operation
- Continuously monitor process, proactively looking for ways to improve our service

**What you need to succeed at XPO**:

- You’ll need some flexibility around working hours; Although this role is Monday - Friday, the operation is 24/7
- Previous experience in operational KPI control and management
- A background in warehousing or storage operations
- Strong administration, organization, and IT skills, particularly use of Microsoft Office
