The ONE Group are delighted to be partnering with Cakehead Ltd, a three times winner of prestigious Food Service Awards in the UK. Cakehead are an established and quickly growing bakery with a fantastic culture, work environment and ambitious future. Now,you may not have heard of them, but I reckon you've heard of their clients as they provide traybakes to some of the most well-known names in the UK's food service industry.
At their gorgeous HQ in Oakham (equipped with all the latest tech, stunning scenery and onsite 'cake tasting room'), they are looking to appoint an ambitious and forward thinking Management Accountant to deputise for their Head of Finance as the businessembarks on a period of substantial growth.
This is a varied and engaging role, which would be an excellent opportunity for a part or newly qualified accountant who thrives on being at the heartbeat of the company's commercial and operational processes. Day to day duties in the role will include:
- Produce and present the Monthly Management Accounts
- Support on month end closure
- Produce the weekly production of trading accounts
- Support with the cost control
- Take lead on creating new reports
- Ensure that all financial controls are adhered to
- Liaise with external stakeholders
- Assist with forecast and budgeting
- Assist with ledger reconciliations and transitional review
The role is fully site based (Why would you want to be anywhere else?) and due to the growth plans in place for the business you can expect the role developing over time to include more responsibility and exposure.
