Quality Auditor

Banham Poultry (2018) Ltd is recruiting for Quality Auditor to provide support in ensuring technical and legal compliance across the site

**Responsibilities**:

- Contribute to site strategy by ensuring best practice is implemented.
- Contributing to the ongoing development of a progressive, proactive culture across the Technical department through training, coaching and advocating positive change to create a high-performing environment, surpassing the standards expected from our customers.
- This role requires a confident individual who is looking for a role involving a range of internal audit, inspection and advisory skills.
- There will be two fundamental parts to the role, the first will be to support the company’s Technical team in maintaining excellent audit results and assisting the department in ensuring company and customer standards are met at all times.
- The second will be to provide support and guidance when required to the variety of projects the company is involved with.
- Support the site Technical team through communication, support other QA as needed
- Responsible for ensuring adequate product quality auditing is conducted against pictorial specifications (QAS), support manufacturing by reporting and demonstrating inadequate packs, therefore using a continuous improvement approach and thereby assist in reducing customer complaint levels year on year.
- Responsible for collecting samples as per the daily collection schedule.
- Responsible for completing internal inspections against Technical QMS standards and company pre-requisite plan and reporting results to the senior QA.
- Ensuring the traceability system is maintained throughout production, monitor for subtle changes that affect raw material traceability.
- Demonstrate correct safety behaviours ensuring safe operating practices are followed.
- Ad hoc to deliver continuous improvement projects.
- Whilst the job description is detailed, it is not intended to be limiting, functions may be added or removed from the role depending upon company requirements.
- Ensure that procedures and policies implemented are transferred and understood by all relevant parties.
- To assist in the maintenance, management and meeting of KPIs.

**Shift pattern / rates**
- Monday to Friday 07.00- 16.30 OR 17.00-02.30
- Pay rate - £12.52 p/h
- Weekly pay

- Able to work effectively within a high-performing team as well as working independently under your own initiative.
- Excellent communication skills at all levels
- Attention to detail and strong investigation/problem solving skills
- Ability to facilitate improvement in a variety of situations
- Outstanding self-organisation skills and time management

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £12.52 per hour
