Project Security Manager

We are looking to recruit a high performing individual to join AWE Security as a Project Security Manager as part of a new Projects Security Group led by a Senior Project Security Manager. The successful applicant will be required to contribute effectivelyand efficiently as a key part of the system that protects AWE's material, information, and assets today and for the future.
As a Project Security Manager, it is expected that you will be adaptable and capable to meet your responsibility to deliver a variety of activities, to ensure:
- That the project(s) you are supporting are secure in their delivery
- That the product the project(s) delivers meets the AWE standards of security.
Salary from £42,700 per annum

You will be responsible for:
- Understanding the full scope and delivery plan for the project(s) that you are responsible for.
- Leading the development and maintenance of security management arrangements for your project(s) to ensure that they are both proportionate and relevant to the threat.
- Assessing the performance and effectiveness of security elements as directed and advising of potential solutions where corrective action and improvements are needed.
- Assisting in the identification, management, and mitigation of security vulnerabilities in the delivery of your project(s) to minimise the risks to AWE. To include procurement and information assurance in the Supply Chain
- Developing and authoring Security Plans and Security Operational requirements for your project(s).
To be considered for this role you will need to have:
- A good standard of education (Batchelors Degree)
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a proven ability to communicate at all levels
- Proven ability to work across multiple teams simultaneously
- Experience of working in a Security environment
- An understanding of how to deliver successfully in a regulated environment
- Worked and delivered in a project environment (project management qualification is desirable)
