**What to expect**:
As a Finance Administrator you will join us on our journey and undertake a valuable role, this is a key position of the Central Finance team responsible for contributing to the delivery of functional objectives, always modelling the Post Office behaviours, and demonstrating a Postmaster first mindset.
The main purpose of the role is to complete accurate and timely finance processes within Post Office systems. They will support a culture of inclusion, continuous improvement, and high performance

**What you’ll need to succeed**:
- Experience of CFS preferred, but not essential.
- Proven experience collaborating with peers, colleagues, and stakeholders to contribute to the delivery of functional strategy to achieve business objectives.
- Applied expertise across relevant tools, systems, and procedures, to achieve business results, whilst demonstrating drive towards continuous improvement.
- Demonstrable experience of completing assignments to a high quality to achieve objectives and key results.
- Experience in a finance environment and working to tight deadlines.
- Experience of working in an environment with strong financial control requirements.
- Attention to detail, with a desire for getting things right first time
- Flexible attitude to ensure a continued level of service (start times 8am to meet banking deadlines)
- Numeric ability to understand and interpret figures.
- Can communicate effectively to all audiences including non-finance experienced colleagues.
- Ability to identify, suggest and deliver improvements.
- Ability to adapt to changing business priorities by covering different roles across the team at short notice
- Questioning and challenging approach, with a ‘Can do’ attitude
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively and network across Post Office to build connections.
- A true problem solver with the ability to make decisions and solve common problems whilst knowing when to escalate complex issues that may impact delivery.
- Adopts a continuous improvement approach using data and insights to help inform decisions.
- Demonstrates a strong commitment to upholding the values and principles of Post Office

Note: Be available to complete daily training on Future Walk site, Chesterfield for 2-3 weeks, then on site between 1-2 days per week
