This is an opportunity for an experienced UX Researcher to join us on our mission to help our customers achieve their goals when they’re feeling financially squeezed.

**Your role**

You will be responsible for designing and conducting UX research, and identifying the best method based on research goals and resources.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys taking responsibility for planning, designing and managing research deemed essential for the ongoing research-driven evolution of all our products. You will set, test, and standardise the research process, directly impacting the alignment of the strategy and vision for our products.

Your ultimate priority will be to ensure our customers’ needs and behaviours are at the forefront of everything we do.

**What you’ll be doing**
- You will use a variety of user testing methodologies to reveal actionable customer insights.
- You will work with data, from gathering, to analysis, through to design and presentation.
- Work closely with our UX designers to plan future products or improve the experience of existing products and services.
- Run our internal ‘popcorn’ sessions to embed customer empathy across the business, bringing our customers to the centre of what we do.
- You will conduct end-to-end UX Research with a variety of personas from foundational research through to concept and UX testing.
- You will use a variety of user testing methodologies to reveal actionable customer insights.

**Your skills and experience**
- A degree or equivalent professional experience in Market Research, UX, User Research, Social Science, Design Communication or Cognitive/Behavioural Psychology
- Experienced in conducting qualitative and quantitative research using industry standard methodologies and tools
- Ability to perform all research-related tasks including research, planning, evaluating, and iteration - Ability to formulate specific, answerable, and practical questions
- Understanding of industry-standard UX research methods including ethnographic methods (e.g., in depth interview, group interviews), evaluative methods (e.g., concept testing, in-lab/remote usability testing, tree testing, etc.), and quantitative methods (surveys, behavioural analytics, etc.).
- Demonstrable UX research and research experience

**How we Work**

Right now, we’ll be adopting a hybrid approach to working. Most of us are spending 40-60% of our working time in the office each month, with our operating hours typically between 9am and 5.30pm. This approach is designed so that we are able to offer a balance to the needs of you, our customers, the team, and the business. We appreciate that from time to time there will be some personal circumstances that need extra flexibility, and are always happy to discuss this as they crop up.
