Ardent Care Ltd are specialists in supporting vulnerable adults with hoarding and decluttering needs.

We are recruiting for support workers in the following areas:

- Clifton
- Nottingham

The role involves a programme of decluttering, cleaning, and home organising that is personalised for each client, to create a safe and clean living environment. We also support clients with social inclusion, accessing health services and emotional support.

Support workers will deliver specialist care whilst observing and respecting the client's dignity, privacy, and independence.

This role is relatively flexible, and ideal for those who want to work around child care or additional responsibilities.

**Responsibilities**:
**-**To provide a person-centred, sensitive and flexible decluttering support service.

**-**To motivate clients and support them with organising their homes to create a safe living environment.

**-**To includes practical assistance and general cleaning duties such as washing up, dusting, vacuuming, polishing and clearing refuse and rubbish.

**-**Facilitating social activities and inclusion; provide companionship to the client, actively talking and listening to them about their interests

**-**Shopping, and the preparation of shopping lists and assistance with budgeting.
- Assistance with personal finances, including paying bills.
- To maintain good communication and develop effective working relationships with clients**.**
- To participate as directed by Ardent Care Service Managers and regular in-service training programmes.

**-**To maintain accurate, concise and timely records of Client care.

**-**To participate in Staff, Team and Quality Management Review Meetings as directed by the Service Manager.
- To report back to the Service Manager where there are safeguarding concerns

**-**To participate in reviews of service users’ Care Plans as required.

**-**Any other duties requested by Service Managers, which are within the scope of the post.

**Person Specification.**
- Access to own transport is not essential, but beneficial due to the nature of the role. Mileage is paid at a competitive rate (excluding to first call, and from last call)

**Job Type**: Full Time, Part Time and Casual Hours available

**Salary**: £11.00 per Hour (_Plus £200 payable bonus on completing of probation period)_
