**About the Fleet Administrator role**:
Working as a key part of the Fleet department, we look after the full suite of commercial vehicles and company cars out on the roads, and all our Mechanical Handling Equipment in our warehouses across the UK. We work with multiple teams across the businessto make sure our large fleet remains safe, efficient and cost effective.
You will join our great team of Fleet Administrators based in our Galashiels offices and the role will involve:
- Keeping our internal and external fleet databases up to date
- Administering Penalty Charge Notices
- Liaising with internal and external customers to make sure their transport requirements are met, including organising hire and de-hire of commercial vehicles, and arranging vehicle movements across the UK
- Keeping commercial vehicles taxes up to date making sure they are roadworthy
**Key skills**:
- Experience of working in an administrative environment
- Ability to organise your work and keep on top of daily priorities
- A willingness to get stuck in and learn new things
- Work well as a team, supportive to others and take a pride in your work
- Knowledge of Microsoft office including using Excel, Word and Outlook
- Personable approach with an ability to form good working relationships and effectively communicate with a range of people
Having knowledge or experience of working in a transport admin-related role would be desirable but we will provide a thorough induction into the business and relevant training to bring you up to speed. During your induction and training period you will bebased in the office but there is scope for an element of homeworking when you are settled into the role.
