Job Title:
**RETAIL ASSISTANT**
Purpose:
To work as part of a store team to deliver outstanding customer service.
To contribute to achieving store profit targets by maintaining good stock levels, proactive selling and excellent visual merchandising.
Accountabilities:
- To serve customers as a priority, showing high standards of customer care at all times.
- To sell and promote retail products in an efficient and friendly manner
- To handle cash and use the EPoS till system, including handling of credit card, debit card and cheque payments.
- To replenish stock and displays as directed.
- To merchandise and display products appropriately. Ensuring products have the correct pricing and security tags attached
- To process customer orders accurately and efficiently, in accordance with store operating procedures
- To answer customer enquiries and deal with complaints in line with company procedures
- To assist the Store Management Team with the preparation and counting of stock at all stock takes in accordance with Store requirements and procedures
- To keep all work areas clean & tidy
- To adhere to all Company health & safety procedures. You have a responsibility to work safely at all times and to report any potential hazards, faults or problems to your Line Manager or the Store Duty Manager
- To ensure your punctuality, attendance and personal appearance meet company standards
- To carry out other duties which naturally fall within the reasonable expectations of the post

**Salary**: £4.81-£9.50 per hour
