Interim Financial Accountant

A leading engineering business in Manchester is looking to recruit a qualified accountant to provide additional support during the year end. This is a traditional financial accounting assignment and will require the financial accountant to carry out thefollowing duties:
- Preparation of the statutory accounts for a portfolio of companies within the group, ensuring deadines are met.
- Act as the liaison for the external auditors and handling any queries
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations
- Production of key reports including cashflow reporting, capex reports, company VAT returns and associated year end documents
The financial accountant must have:
- A relevant accounting qualification - ACA, ACCA,CIMA
- Good all round technical accounting knowledge
- Strong excel skills
- Previous experience working on ERP systems and ideally consolidation software packages
- Ability to work to deadlines, prioritise workload and delivering accurate, timely information.
The role would suit an experienced interim and is deemed inside IR35.
