**The Role**

We have a 12 month contract available for a Credit Controller (of any level) within our finance team, for professionals with strong work ethic and an ambition to grow and develop within a global organisation.

**Responsibilities:

- **
- Performing customer credit checks and background review for potential new customers;
- Timely contact with customers to ensure balances are paid on time and in full;
- Responding to customer queries in a professional and prompt manner;
- Exercising judgement to determine when accounts need to be placed “on hold” due to non-payment;
- Overseeing daily cash allocations and postings;
- Building close relationships with sales, operations and finance teams to ensure best practice;
- Forecasting cash collection for monthly reports;
- Reconciling customer accounts;
- Other ad hoc responsibilities as required.

This is an ideal opportunity for a pro-active and assertive individual, with strong influencing and communication skills.

**Essential**
- Credit control experience in a fast-paced environment;
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written;
- Self-motivated with a positive outlook, always willing to rise to a challenge;
- Able to work independently and multi-task;
- Competent IT Skills
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines.
- As part of ISO certified organisation you will be required to follow the policies and procedures on Information Security Management in place globally at Lowe. As an employee of Lowe, you may have access to various company Assets and will be required to maintain the level of security as identified for each asset._

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: Up to £25,000.00 per year
