An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Facilities Management Team for a dynamic and committed individual to support the delivery of the Council’s Facilities Management function.
You will be joining a team of eager and ambitious Facilities Management Officers and have a manager who is supportive and keen to facilitate development.
**What will I be doing?**
- You will be responsible for collating, interpreting and analysing data on space and facilities requirements at various locations around the county.
- You will assist in transforming the Council’s premises to provide smart, safe, well placed space.
- You will be ensuring our premises are compliant and safe.
- You will be liaising with building users to ensure space provided meets the needs of the service.
- You will be improving the performance of our properties through the use of technology to provide a consistent approach to the way our buildings work and operate.
**What skills and experience do you need to have?**
- You will be enthusiastic, versatile and self-motivated with the ability to work well as part of a team.
- You will have confidence to work under pressure and manage several tasks simultaneously.
- You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- You will have relevant facilities management qualification and post qualification experience or significant and relevant practical experience within the built environment.

Our Facilities Management team is contractually based at County Hall Matlock but as these positions will require you to travel to premises around the county you will have the opportunity to work on a hybrid basis.
