Rhodes Freight Services is continuing to grow, with exciting plans afoot to broaden our capabilities and appeal to an even greater range of customers. Therefore we are proud to offer a position within our Operations team.

Being a 24/7/365 operation, in order to furbish a number of high-profile customer contracts, we need adequate cover. We are pleased to have availability for a new AM-shift operations planner.

We work closely together as a team in order to provide the best possible customer service to our range of customers in the world of Temperature-Controlled transport.

We really value loyalty and teamwork here at Rhodes, offering a helping hand in the warehouse when things are busy, helping out during our peak periods, covering overtime shifts when colleagues are away on holiday... everyone feels like a family.

Our expansion as an ETSF warehouse ensures that we can offer an even greater range of services and we require the right people to make this happen.

If your background is within Temperature-Controlled transport, especially Air Cargo, ETSF, European Perishables and Pharmaceuticals, then Rhodes Freight Services could be the next (and hopefully last) step on your career-path.

This job requires:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Excellent attention to detail

Excellent customer service awareness and fulfillment

Excellent ability to problem solve

Ability to cope with pressure and fast-paced change

Ability to work well, both individual and as part of a team

Proven background within the transport industry and knowledge of driver legislation

An excellent command of both the UK and Continental European geography.

Good IT skills with Office based software knowledge

Previous experience working within a Customs Bonded ETSF, with associated formalities, a definite advantage.
