Residential Child Care Workers needed in Bristol

**Start** **Date**:

- ASAP

**Location** - Stapleton, Hengrove, Hartcliffe, Henbury or Whitchurch (Bristol)

**Duration** - Permanent

**Hours** **per** **week** - 37 hours per week

**Salary** - £24,948 - £26,845 per annum, plus shift enhancements of approx. £5000 per annum.

**Description**:

- To take account of the choices, needs and wishes of each child
- To take responsibility for learning about each individual child and the way their childhood experiences affect them
- Ensure positive professional relationships
- Support children through their journey in care into independence
- Attend team meetings, appraisals and supervisions and actively take a role in developing your continuous professional development
- Assisting to develop and maintain a high standard of personal hygiene
- Supporting young people to make appropriate choices
- Accompanying young people to the dentist, doctor and all other appointments
- Working as part of a team, sharing responsibility fairly and being supportive of others.

**What is required?**
- Level 3 Diploma for Children and Young People's Workforce or equivalent
- Experience within a similar role
