Qc Supervisor

**QC Supervisor** PPG Industries Birstall You will ensure all incoming Raw Materials, Intermediates and Finished Products meet the pre-set specification promptly by the efficient management of Quality Control Technicians and Senior Technicians. You will manage the supervision of a specific QC Department to ensure Raw Materials, Intermediates and finished Products all comply with the Quality Standards Specified observing the companies ISO 9001 quality Management system. You will report to the QC Manager. **Key Responsibilities** - To ensure that sufficient Quality Control staff are present for the requirements of the QC function to cover factory-working hours, including weekends. To ensure this is carried out in the most cost-effective manner. - To ensure any non-conformance to specification is recorded and corrective action to achieve specification is undertaken and reported in a constructive and timely manner. To be responsible for process control from point of test. To be responsible for conceding approval of out of specification results using the Concession procedure. - To ensure that all batches of incoming Raw Materials, Problem intermediates, Materials on hold, Manufactured Intermediates and Finished Products are examined and tested to the Specifications quoted.
