**World Class Defence Organisation based in Stevenage, Hertfordshire is currently looking to recruit a System Modelling Engineer subcontractors on an initial 6 month contract.**

**Hourly Rate**:£60ph

**Contract Duration**:6 Months (initially and then very much long-term thereafter).

**System Modelling Engineer Job Description**:
We are looking for a simulation engineer to work on our in-house synthetic image generation model for seeker RF imagery, this is deploys high fidelity RF ray tracing of complex CAD scenes and post processing high volume data using radar processing techniques.This simulation capability provides synthetic data to multiple key missile programmes across the organisation.

The work is heavily rooted in MATLAB and SIMULINK focussing on validation and testing of the existing code base but also generating innovative functionality to push the boundaries of the capability with more complex seekers and scenes. A willingness to learnand think outside the box when it comes to complex problems is a key part of working in the seeker RF simulation team.

The growing team is very flexible when it comes to new ideas and making changes that improve the way we work as well as the techniques we deploy. The team spans across multiple projects which brings with it the opportunity for diverse interesting work thatis engaging and challenging.

Due to the sensitive nature of the work it is predominantly done onsite.
